Job description

We are a leading manufacturer in electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical assemblies, celebrating over 75 years of outstanding engineering and design. We have an immediate job opening for a SMT LINE TECHNICIAN at our Northbrook, IL location. We offer a complete benefits package. Work Schedule

Two schedules available Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

o Set up, program, and monitor SMT equipment.

o Perform daily production support.

o Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.

o Ensure quality standards are met through inspections and quality checks.

o Maintain feeders and other tools used in the process.

o Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

o Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

o Proven experience as a SMT Technician in a manufacturing environment.

o Familiarity with Universal pick and place machines, DEK paste printing machines and AOI

machines

o Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

o Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.

o High school diploma required. Education or certification in Engineering or related field preferred.

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Strong communication and organizational skills.

o Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies
