Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FOS - Safety Management System (SMS) to join our team. This position will provide subject matter expertise concerning Safety Management Systems and safety programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SMS policy and procedures and will be responsible for additional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.
  • This is a part-time, remote position.
  • Some travel may be required. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support on Airport SMS.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SMS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SMS standards.
  • Lead Safety Risk Management/Assessment activities.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on SMS activities and findings.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of SMS training programs.
  • Perform additional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.
