Job Description
We are hiring team members for our Oaks/Phoenixville location. Team members will be acting as cashiers/sales associates; managing all customer transactions with efficiency and a smile. Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to customer service, daily chores, and restocking. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service and/or retail position and some knowledge of cash registers and POS systems (we use Square). Open availability is strongly preferred, as are applicants with a background in customer service. Priority interviews will be given to candidates with strong resumes, references, and experience that relates to our industry. Please do not submit incomplete applications or duplicate applications, as this will result in automatic rejection. We have a small team and we enjoy a friendly, proactive and cooperative work environment; employees who wish to remain with us long-term will come to work prepared to be friendly, proactive and cooperative. Responsibilities
  • Manage transactions with customers using cash or credit
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Issue receipts, handle refunds/exchanges where warranted
  • Redeem stamps and coupons
  • Cross-sell/upsell products and introduce new ones
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Greet customers when they enter the store and bid farewell when they leave
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Bag, box, or wrap packages
  • Restocking and unpacking new stock
  • Be a team player
  • Respond to coaching
  • Have a functioning phone and reliable transportation

Skills
  • Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
