Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities while meeting established sales goals
  • Conduct in-home consultations to understand client lifestyles, priorities, and project goals
  • Collaborate with architects, builders, interior designers, and homeowners throughout the design process
  • Review intake information and gather all details necessary to develop complete system designs
  • Design integrated technology systems including audio/video, networking, lighting control, motorized shades, security, surveillance, and outdoor entertainment
  • Utilize iPoint, System Survey, CAD, and related software to develop proposals, system documentation, and presentation materials
  • Assist as needed in lighting layouts, keypad layouts, scene documentation, and supporting design spreadsheets
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary design resource during project execution, working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Programming, and Installation
  • Communicate programming intent and system functionality to our programming team to ensure the client experience matches the original design
  • Provide remote support to field technicians during installation when design clarification is needed
  • Participate in client walkthroughs, demonstrations, and project closeout as needed
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer certifications
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-first culture focused on delivering exceptional client experiences

  • Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with CAD, iPoint, System Survey, or similar design platforms is preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for technology, architecture, design, and creating exceptional customer experiences
