Job description

Job Summary:
The Business Development Director for AiWB will be responsible for building and expanding strategic relationships, partnerships, and revenue opportunities for AiWB's proprietary technology platform, including WBS, and related AiWB services. This role is a key growth position focused on market adoption of a new prop-tech solution enabling vertical integration across build-to-rent, smart construction, homebuilding, and land development projects.
This role is hands-on and execution-oriented requiring a strong SaaS sales background, technical aptitude to understand and articulate complex products, and an established industry network.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive adoption of AiWB and WBS technology across target real estate and construction verticals.
  • Build, maintain, and expand a strong network of developers, builders, owners, operators, technology partners, and strategic collaborators.
  • Lead direct sales efforts for AiWB services and WBS technology, including prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Identify and establish new business partnerships that leverage WBS and AiWB as part of vertically integrated project delivery.
  • Represent AiWB at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and targeted business development meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal leadership, product, and operations teams to align market feedback with product roadmap and service offerings.
  • Develop outreach and relationship-based marketing initiatives in coordination with leadership and marketing resources.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of AiWB's technology stack, value proposition, and competitive landscape.
  • Track sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics; provide regular reporting to the CEO.
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new features, enhancements, and market segments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in SaaS sales, prop-tech, construction technology, or related technology-enabled services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and leverage a professional network within real estate, construction, or development industries.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technology solutions.
  • Experience selling enterprise or B2B software solutions is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to operate independently while aligning with executive leadership.

Essential Functions:
  • Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, with travel and after-hours events as required.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Ability to travel to industry events, client meetings, and partner sites.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
