Job description

WH Bass is an ESOP and 2026 AJC Top Workplace award winner. Our culture can best be described as one of servant mindedness, teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit. We are currently looking for experienced traveling, commercial Carpenter. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a Carpenter dealing with interior finishes and renovations. Experience in the construction of restaurants, petroleum/convenience stores, bank and retail projects highly desired.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work from lifts, kneel, bend, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Travel to job sites as required.


Preferred Skills

  • Commercial construction experience.
  • Experience working in occupied retail, restaurant, banking, healthcare, or office environments.
  • Proficiency with smart phones, tablets, and construction management software.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs across multiple trades.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
