Job description

Our Core Mission

Built Around One Thing. The Slider.  Because when you do one thing, you do it right. Our Goal is to make everyone's day a Smalls bit better with friendly service and high quality, made to order food.

What's in it for you??
  • Reliable & Timely Pay: We ensure all our squad are paid fairly without relying on tips! Payday is every other Friday, so you never have to worry about getting paid. We also do regular reviews and raises for the squad that are going above and beyond.

  • Free Food: Yes, you get to eat FREE! We allow our squad to have one free meal before, during (on break), or after your shift. We also allow our squad to enjoy any sodas they want while at the can.

  • Flexibility: We schedule around you. Work as much or as little as you want. We ask that you keep your availability updated in our scheduling app, but we ensure you get the time off you need to live the life you deserve!

  • Advancement: For the ambitious in the room, we encourage advancement from within. We love training those who want to take on more responsibility and become a leader. We are growing, so there will be a lot of opportunity to move up in our company at this store and others in the area.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Customer Service: Take orders, handle cash/cards, and hand out food with a friendly attitude.

  • Food Prep: Cook burgers, fry waffle fries, and make shakes for our guests

  • Cleaning: Keeping the kitchen, the patio area, and the restrooms spotless.

  • Stocking: Moving boxes and making sure the kitchen has enough supplies (napkins, sauce, buns) to get through the rush.

The Requirements
  • No Experience Needed: Whether it's just another job or your first job, we got you! We train all our squad how to live the Smalls Squad Life.

  • High Energy: You need to be able to move quickly and stay positive when it gets busy.

  • Reliability: While we offer great flexibility, we ask that you always show up on time for scheduled shifts or trade shifts with another squad member in advance.

  • Physicality: You’ll be on your feet for your whole shift, but we encourage breaks for all our squad.

The "Smalls" Translation
  • "Frequent Sliders" = Our guests

  • "The Can" = Our restaurant

  • "Smauce" = Our signature sauce

  • "Squad" = Our team and your coworkers.
