Entry-Level General Laborer
Hours: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday -Thursday 5:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday
Pay $18 hourly

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, motivated Entry-Level General Laborer to join our small welding and fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop new skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment. No welding experience is requiredโ€”we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal applicant has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, follows directions, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized shop.
Responsibilities

  • Keep the shop clean and organized by sweeping, removing scrap materials, and maintaining work areas.
  • Assist welders and fabricators with preparing materials and moving parts.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shop.
  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication.
  • Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools after training.
  • Help package and prepare completed projects for delivery or pickup.
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other general shop duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • No experience required; we will train the right candidate.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Dependable with good attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools is a plus, but not required.
