Job description

Job Title: TIG Welder FabricatorJob Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder Fabricator to join our team in the final assembly department. You will be responsible for fabricating machined and cut-to-size parts, primarily using TIG welding techniques, with occasional MIG welding. This role requires you to oversee and support all TIG welding and the final assembly of products.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, primarily 14 gauge, in multiple positions.
  • Use hand tools such as angle grinders and sanders to finish rough edges.
  • Operate additional equipment like tube benders, drill presses, and saws.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for each client-specific job in short-run production.
  • Collaborate with a team of 10 welders to ensure seamless assembly processes.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 10 years of TIG stainless steel experience, particularly on 14 gauge.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, including understanding symbols and tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in fabrication and assembly.
  • Familiarity with machine shop tools like lathes, Bridgeport, saws, and grinders.
  • Pipefitting and MIG welding experience is preferred.
  • Currently pursuing an Associate's degree in Welding Technologies is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
