Location: Belleville, MI Shift: 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM) Pay: Up to $20.00/hr
Job Summary Workbox Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Welder in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will support plant operations by performing maintenance welding on equipment and assisting with repairs to keep production running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with recent welding experience who enjoys hands-on work and variety in their day.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Maintenance Welder, your core responsibilities will include:
- Welding: Perform ARC, Stick, or SMAW welding to repair and maintain plant equipment
- Equipment Repair: Assist with troubleshooting and fixing machinery to minimize downtime
- Project Work: Support ongoing maintenance projects within the facility
- Travel Support: Occasionally travel locally to assist nearby facilities as needed
- General Maintenance: Help with additional plant maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Recent welding experience required (ARC, Stick, or SMAW)
- Ability to work in a maintenance or industrial environment
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
