Non-CDL Truck Driver

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area. 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday to Friday Pay: starting at $26.00/hr Duties and Responsibilities Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip. Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports. Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit. Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit. Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents. Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively. Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience 1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training program. Valid state-issued driver's license, with a clean driving record. Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability. Good hand-eye coordination. Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus. Strong commitment to customer service. Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. Flexible early morning shifts Comfortable sitting for extended periods.
