Description:
1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing emergency plumbing start-up that provides services to both commercial and residential properties.
This role requires journeyman-level experience, sound technical judgment, and the ability to manage service calls independently from diagnosis through completion. The Plumbing Technician is expected to communicate clearly with customers and internal team members and to consistently deliver work that meets professional, safety, and code standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
Perform emergency residential and light commercial service work, including:
  • Drain clearing and clog removal
  • Leak detection and repair
  • Water heater service and replacement
  • Fixture installation and replacement
  • Minor piping repairs and system upgrades
  • Respond to emergency service calls with urgency and professionalism
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, options, pricing, and next steps
  • Provide feedback to help refine pricing, processes, and service standards as the business develops
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Residential and commercial service plumbing
Drain clearing and emergency service work
Experience working in a startup or small company environment
