Position Summary

Russellโ€™s American Mechanical is seeking a dependable and motivated Plumbing Assistant to support our plumbing team in Chesapeake, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the plumbing trade and gain hands-on experience while working alongside skilled plumbers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed plumbers with residential and light commercial plumbing service, repairs, and installations

  • Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials

  • Support pipe cutting, fitting, trenching, and basic plumbing tasks

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

  • Provide professional and courteous customer interaction

  • Perform general cleanup and job site support duties

Qualifications
