We are a small retail business that is located in the heart of Lincoln Square in the North Side of Chicago. Our business is well established for many years and have been recognized by our customers as professional and highly skilled in optics. Therefore, we are looking for an individual who is willing to join our vision of delivering the best quality in optics and service.

Job Description

    Greet and welcome customers as they arrive
    Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    Perform clerical work such as filing vision insurance claims, printing doctor schedule, computer data entry and faxing
    Receive and open packages
    Notify customers on status of orders
    Call/ Text patients to remind about appointments
    Prepare patient charts and insurance
    Ensure office area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens and forms)
    Social media posting and promotional marketing

Qualifications

    Highly proficient in MS Office (word, excel, office, access) and social media
    Ability to multi-task and adapt to new tasks
    Detail oriented with solid written and verbal communication skills
    Must have an upbeat personality and customer service attitude
    Superior in time management skills
    Demonstrate elevated level of leadership and responsibility
    Stable work history and employment references from last two employers
    Must have neat appearance to work in a professional office environment
