Small Group Director/Pastor

BRAVE Church is seeking a spiritually mature, relationally gifted, and servant-hearted Small Group Director/Pastor to shepherd individuals and cultivate authentic, life-giving community through our small group ministry at our Westminster, CO campus. This role is pivotal in guiding believers toward deeper spiritual growth, greater biblical literacy, and Christlike maturity—through intentional relationships and pastoral care.

Rooted in the biblical qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1–7, Titus 1:5–9, 1 Peter 5:1–4), the ideal candidate will demonstrate unwavering character, humility, and a passion for discipleship. With a shepherd's heart and a leader's resolve, the Small Group Pastor will walk alongside individuals in their faith journey, offering wisdom, encouragement, and practical support.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrates Christlike character, spiritual depth, and alignment with elder qualifications (1 Tim. 3; Titus 1), including sobriety, family leadership, and a reputation above reproach.
  • Proven experience in mentoring, teaching sound doctrine, and mobilizing volunteers or ministry teams within a faith-based setting.
  • Exceptional ability to connect with diverse individuals, demonstrating empathy, hospitality, and discernment in personal care and spiritual guidance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Divinity required or equivalent theological training, and 5+ years of practical ministry experience. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills; comfortable with technology; able to work flexibly with church leadership and serve in fast-paced ministry environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Multiply Small Groups: Foster spiritual growth and community by developing small group structures, equipping members for discipleship, and promoting sound doctrine.
  • Provide Spiritual Mentorship & Care: Build authentic relationships through one-on-one guidance, prayer, emotional support, and pastoral care—modeling Christlike integrity and gentleness.
  • Equip and Empower Leaders: Identify emerging leaders, invest in their development, and cultivate a culture of servant leadership within small group ministry.
  • Teach and Shepherd Faithfully: Facilitate Scripture-based discussions, teach practical biblical truths, and guide others to live out their faith with clarity and conviction.
  • Champion Prayer and Community Building: Lead intercessory prayer efforts and strengthen fellowship through hospitality-driven activities that connect individuals and deepen spiritual bonds.
