Job Requirements:Responsibilities

•Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles

•Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory

•Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals

•Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.

•Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.

•Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs

•Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems

•Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)

•Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Job Description:Requirements

•Must be a minimum of 21 years old.

•Minimum 3 years of previous technical experience with Class 6-8 Commercial Trucks, Tractors, and Trailers.

•Air Brake Systems Certification

•Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repairs using diagnostic systems

•ASE Certification is preferred.

•Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair

•Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections

•High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

•Must be able to lift 70 pounds

•Candidate must provide his/her own tools.

•Valid driver's license may be required with no suspensions and/or revocations in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years. No CDL required.Wage Range: $36 per hour - $40 per hour Hourly USDGeneral Description of Benefits: Benefits - Eligibility starts on FIRST DAY OF WORK!
