Description
The Appleton YMCA and Ogden YMCA (Neenah) are hiring Pilates Reformer Instructors. As a Pilates reformer instructor, you'll lead small group classes and private sessions. Provide a mind-body connection while teaching Pilates principles confidently in a calming and impactful studio. Pilates Reformer classes at the Y create positive interactions with individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels.
This is a part-time position. Choose the branch location that best fits your life! Additional opportunities to teach other formats of mind-body classes are also available.
Requirements
  • Intermediate knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and exercise physiology.
  • Certification in Pilates Reformer from a nationally recognized company
  • Certification in CPR, First-Aid & AED or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
  • Prior experience in teaching fitness classes or have completed the Y's Group Fitness Instructor Training Program or be willing to obtain through the YMCA once hired.
