Job Summary:
B4Corp is a small defense contracting company focused on providing a skilled environment for consultants supporting the intelligence community. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide ETL development support for a geospatial visualization platform, ensuring effective data flow and integration.
Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite ETL development support for a geospatial visualization platform.
• Monitor and maintain the flow of data into the customer’s PostgreSQL database.
• Develop custom ETL solutions.
• Programmatically manipulate data.
• Ensure seamless data integration with all aspects of the application.
• Work with Apache NiFi to develop new ETL flows.
• Use PostgreSQL for data management.
• Use SQL to query large datasets.
• Use APIs to retrieve data from various sources.
• Gather data requirements from team members.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
• Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
• Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
• Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
• SME (16+ years’ experience)
• Senior Labor Category: Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or Expert Labor Category: Minimum 6 years of experience with a Doctorate
• Degree in technical fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Geography etc.
• Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph
• Willingness to work onsite full time
• US citizenship required
• Experience using PostgreSQL for data management
• Knowledge using APIs to retrieve data from various sources
• Experience using SQL to query large datasets
• Experience with programmatic data manipulation
Preferred:
• Experience using AWS cloud services to efficiently gather and service data
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and best practices
• Experience using Apache NiFi
• Familiarity with python data manipulation
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community data
• Familiarity with geospatial tools and applications
• Experience supporting enterprise applications data holdings
