Job Overview:
We are seeking a strong Accounting Professional to operate at the Senior Accountant, Supervisor, or Manager level, depending on experience. This role focuses on accounting and bookkeeping review work for small businesses, including some compilations and one review engagement. Ideal candidates are accurate, technically strong, and confident in a public practice environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review bookkeeping and accounting work for small business clients.

  • Oversee monthly accounting, cleanup work, and year-end preparation.

  • Handle a small number of compilation engagements and one review engagement.

  • Ensure financial information is accurate, complete, and supported.

  • Work directly with small business clients, answering accounting questions.

  • Support senior staff and partners in client meetings as needed.

  • Manage multiple client files and deadlines efficiently.

  • Flag issues or risks early and propose solutions.

  • Use QuickBooks, UltraTax, and Canopy to manage client data and files.

  • Keep documentation and notes organized in firm systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong accounting knowledge and technical skills.

  • Recent public accounting experience with small business clients.

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, compilations, and reviews.

  • Confident reviewing others’ work and providing feedback.

  • Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Experience:

  • 5–7 years in public accounting preferred, but other experience levels may be considered based on capability.

  • Proven ability to manage small business accounting files end-to-end.

Preferred Education/Certifications:
