In 1999, MedSide became certified to provide home health services including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and medical social services as well as personal care and homemaker support to our clients. In addition, MedSide provides high-tech services such as home infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, antibiotic therapy, pain management, and hydration. Home Health Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP)Openings in Atlanta Area PRN

Responsibilities:

The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for providing skilled rehabilitation services to home-bound patients in accordance with the Plan of Treatment. The SLP evaluates, plans and administers speech therapy modalities/regimens to clients in their place of residence for the purpose of developing and restoring function through rehabilitative speech therapy as prescribed by a physician.


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Professional Program.

  • Current licensure, with no sanctions, restrictions, or provisions, in the state of Georgia.

  • One year of related experience in a clinical environment
