Job description

Job Title:
Speech Language Pathologist
Pay Range:

Job Description:
Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to support students with speech, language, and communication needs.
Our clinical support and leadership are strong. Our Teams are highly collaborative, and assessment and therapy materials are provided!
Position Summary: As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Assessment
  • Diagnosis
  • Treatment of communication disorders with evidence based best practices
  • Development of IEP goals and objectives
  • Progress monitoring
  • Data collection
  • Consultation and collaboration with other related service providers, teachers, and school team members
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA
  • ASHA CCC's or CF
  • State SLP License or in the process of applying for a License
  • Teaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
