Job Description Responsible for maintaining all technical hardware in the slot floor gaming area. Required to preserve monitors and interpret and report on extensive and detailed technical systems and hardware in the slot department gaming area.

Also, perform other job-related duties assigned by the slot manager and the director of slot operations. Responsibilities Asset Protection Protect company assets and ensure adherence to Key Control procedures. Stay informed and act in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Compliance Obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration. Follow all company policies, procedures, and house rules. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing in one place.

Slot Technical Knowledge Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify slot machines and related equipment. Complete machine moves and replace parts as needed. Keep machine stickers clean, updated, and readable.

Inspect and maintain assigned areas. Team and Guest Relations Provide excellent service to guests and team members. Assist Security Officers and fill in as needed.

Handle guest complaints effectively and maintain a clean, safe casino area. Patrol the casino floor consistently and anticipate potential problems. Other duties as assigned.

Competency EI/VP Core Values Asset Protection Compliance Slot Technical Knowledge Team and Guest Relations Skills / Experience Must have, or can obtain, a gaming license. General understanding of electronics down to the circuit board level and the ability to read and understand schematics. Ability to troubleshoot the wiring harnesses in slot equipment.

Previous experience working with player tracking/accounting systems. Konami SYNKROS system is preferred. Experience with working on and converting machines of the major slot manufacturers in the industry (example: IGT, WMS, Bally, Konami, Aristocrat).

Minimum one year of experience of being employed as a Slot Tech or a Certificate from an accredited Slot Technician training school. Capable of effectively maintaining and repairing gaming equipment on the slot floor, machines, signs, cash machines, etc. Must ensure that the department is complying with all gaming related regulations as they pertain to the operations of gaming devices on the slot floor.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members in the slot department, Team Members from other departments, and guests. Must be able to learn and grow as technology changes within the department. Must know electronic and slot equipment.

Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Ability to perform intermediate math. Physical Requirements Must be able to work with a wide range of electronic testing and diagnostic repair equipment, as well as both AC and DC voltages.

Able to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous hand tools. Spend time on the casino floor, and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise levels, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon customer volume. This position is at times subjected to hazards such as electrical shocks.

Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 250 pounds so as to be able to reach all areas of machines in need of repair and move machines around the work area as needed. Must be able to work with a complete range of radio frequency, high voltage, mechanical and pallet jacks, hand trucks, electronic diagnostic and repair equipment including Test Equipment, other diagnostic and repair equipment such as oscilloscopes (signal tracing with A-B comparisons and external trigger), monitor pattern generators, EPROM checker-programmer, SYNKROS System, all machine testers (troubleshooting major boards to component level) AC and DC supplies (to locate over-current conditions), power supply testers, probes, soldering stations, heat guns, tube rejuvenators, emulator processors and a variety of hand tools.
