Monitor performance of slot machines, activity, and conditions of casino slot areas ensuring all slot machines are operable and identified for repair as necessary. The Maryland Live first level ambassador for guests enjoying their gaming experience at a gaming device.

Responsible for guest service with energy and professionalism

Verifying jackpots, making hopper fills, and filling out paperwork pertaining to them.

Ensures gaming devices are operating properly. Prompt call for technical or supervisory assistance when necessary.

Performing minor repair to slot machines.

Handles guest relations and minor guests disputes.

Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

 Zero to two years casino slot or direct guest service experience.

 Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

 Knowledgeable of basic slot machine functions.

 Ability to read simple instructions.

 Ability to perform some troubleshooting.

 Ability to complete slot-related paperwork with a minimum of errors.

 Knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.

 Good communication skills.

 Ability to deliver the highest level guest friendly guest services.

 Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 Frequent standing/walking,

 Lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs.

 Repetitive use of both hands to include light and firm grasping and finger dexterity
