Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist with system reports and maintains player-tracking system
  • Assists floor personnel with jackpots and machine malfunctions
  • Diagnose and repair machine malfunctions
  • Maintains all machine lights, bill validators, LCD's, TITO printers, filters and all other moving parts of slot machines and signage
  • Maintain all parts of the player tracking system
  • Move machines, wire machines to the slot system, install and test all player tracking components, install, and test all necessary locks, follow proper procedure for final drops and meter captures
  • Replace slot machine components including but not limited to, bill validators, printers, buttons chairs, door switches, lights, monitors, and all player tracking components
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair/clean/replace poor performing bill validators and printers
  • Install software including wiping the hard drive, RAM clearing/ set chipping for all manufacturers, install correct conversion software including OS and game software
  • Test all player tracking components for functionality and accuracy and proper point accumulation
  • Correctly option games from all manufacturers
  • Extensive knowledge of progressive controllers to trouble shoot and diagnose errors
  • Program contribution rates and reset values
  • Properly wire games for linked progressive communication
  • Print setup information from progressive controllers
  • Assists Slot Manager or Manager on Duty in gaming compliance regulations system reports.
  • Assists with soft count during drop as requested
  • Must keep up to date on new and changing technologies for all manufactures of gaming devices

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in slot machine repair
  • Understanding of progressive controllers and progressive signage
  • Knowledge of computers and electronics
  • Requires registration with Nevada Gaming Control Board
  • Obtains an Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
