Job description

We have a Direct Hire opportunity for a Software Engineer in Columbus, OH and will be a hybrid model! You'll be working with a small development team leveraging an existing code base for a Node JS API written in the Nest JS framework.

This backend supports a React web application that allows radiation oncology technicians to record and manage quality assurance data in hospitals. We also use custom image-recognition algorithms to analyze test images sent to us by the technicians. We have a great team of bright minds who visualize the future of our application, and we are looking for a like-minded developer to come on the journey with us.

Job Duties:

  • Develop code and follow standards in place for API and microservices
  • Assist in development of machine learning for existing automations
  • Potentially assist in development of new UI features
  • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
  • Document all programming tasks and procedures
  • Perform routine software maintenance
  • Execute timely and efficient fixes throughout the release cycle
  • Assist with software testing and quality assurance

Qualifications and Required skills:

  • Demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated requiring minimal direction
  • Team player with ability to lead and work collaboratively and cooperatively
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, decision making skills
