Job description

The Slot Ambassador’s primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with all gaming regulations including, but in no manner limited to, full view and control of all gaming areas. Secondary responsibilities include creating player’s club cards, updating player information, slot hand pays, cage cashier, basic slot machine maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Slot Manager or Floor Supervisor. Third level responsibilities may include Slot Technician duties. 

Responsibilities

  • Continually monitor all gaming areas, including sportsbook, slot floor, and table games, to ensure compliance with all gaming regulations.
  • Greet casino guests and confirm all players are at least 21 years of age.
  • Provide outstanding service to casino guests with a positive “can do” attitude. 
  • Respond promptly to calls for guest service, employee assistance, or any other service-related requests from guests or other Tin Lizzie personnel. 

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensure slot machines are always operational by clearing paper jams, filling TITO tickets, clearing machine error messages, etc.
  • Assist players with Player’s Club requests such as creating new loyalty accounts, updating player information, printing new loyalty cards, addressing guest questions, executing promotions, etc. 
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Assists with slot machine installation, relocation, and other duties as directed by management. 
  • Assists the Slot Manager and/or Floor Supervisor on duty will daily operations and other duties as assigned.
  • Must present an professional image and positive demeanor at all times while on duty. 
  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Ability to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays. 
  • Must be 21 and able to obtain a support license from the SD Commission on Gaming.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
