What is a Slitter Machine?

A Slitter Machine is an industrial machine used to cut large rolls of material, such as paper, plastic film, or metal foil, into narrower rolls. It works by unwinding the large roll (also called a 'parent roll'), passing it through a series of blades or rotary knives that slit the material, and then rewinding the narrower strips onto separate cores.
