The MBT Slitter Utility operator will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of slitting equipment, ensuring accurate processing, packaging, and distribution of slit materials. This role involves precise machine operation, quality control, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth workflow within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities Operate slitting machines safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures Adjust bobbin bars to meet product specifications and quality standards Package slit bobbins according to established guidelines, ensuring product protection and proper labeling Stack and weigh finished cartons, verifying accuracy against production requirements Transport finished palletized goods to the cooler using manual material handling techniques Stretch wrap finished pallets to secure materials for storage and shipment Maintain accurate inventory and production records, both manually and electronically on tablets Inspect materials throughout the slitting process, verifying quality and checking for defects Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding production status and issues Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a team environment Capability to maintain accurate records using both manual and electronic systems Physical Requirements Must be able to work in hot and cold environments Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to bend, squat, and complete tasks on the floor Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods Official Contact Information Email: All official emails will come from an @Swisher.com address Website: Verify job listings and contact details on https://careers.swisher.com Important: We will never contact you via Teams, Zoom, or Google Meets.
