Job description

PPS is seeking an experience Machine Operator at our century old metal manufacturing facility in Parma Hts. The Machine Operator is primarily responsible for setting up and operating multiple types of wire coiling and stamping machines. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role with great benefits (on-site gym!) and room for advancement!

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and operate numerous coiling, stamping or four-slide machines within the department.
  • Maintain an eye for quality on all parts produced on the machine.
  • Use gauges and calipers to confirm product meets customer specs.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to follow directions and retain information.
  • Hold themselves accountable for a high level of performance.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Work efficiently and demonstrate the ability to multitask.
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally on all levels.
