Become involved with the education and training of Internal medicine/GI residents, fellows and medical students within an academic setting. Opportunities include teaching and mentorship of Internal Medicine/Gl trainees, preparing/presenting at Departmental/Divisional meetings, involvement with GI/Hepatology clinical research including presentations at national meetings.

Position Details:
• Academic, Inpatient/Outpatient
• Join a team of 6 Hepatologists, 10 Gastroenterologists, 3 Hepatology Advanced Practice Clinicians, and Fellows
• Level 1 Trauma Center, 733-bed hospital in Phoenix Metro
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am- 5:00pm
• 1:5 Unrestricted Call Rotation (including weekend/holiday)
• On-Site cutting-edge tech like vibration controlled transient and magnetic resonance elastography.
• Robust clinical trial program, investigator-led studies, clinical and translational research.
• Essential functions include upper endoscopy procedures and colonoscopy; evaluation of patients with chronic and end-stage liver disease; management of pre- and post-transplant patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
• ABIM BC/BE Transplant Hepatology
• Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
