Job description

Select Source International is seeking a local contract Polysomnographer for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 10 hours, nights

Now Hiring: Registered Sleep Technologist

๐Ÿ“ Detroit, MI 48202 (Must be willing to float to multiple sleep lab locations as needed)

Position Details

  • Contract Duration: 13 Weeks with the possible extension
  • Schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour night shifts
  • Shift: 7:30 PM โ€“ 6:30 AM 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for overnight sleep studies by applying monitoring equipment and explaining procedures.
  • Monitor patients throughout the night and ensure accurate collection of sleep study data.
  • Recognize and respond to patient needs during sleep studies.
  • Perform CPAP/BiPAP titrations as directed.
  • Document patient information and study results accurately.
  • Maintain patient safety and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Complete documentation using Epic (training provided). 

Requirements

  • Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT or equivalent) required
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Experience performing overnight polysomnography
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
    • Patients range from 5 years of age and older
  • Epic experience is not required (on-the-job training provided)

  • GP Cottage Sleep Clinic & Lab โ€“ Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236
