Mercy Health Defiance is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join our esteemed medical team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Weekend work varies based on the call schedule. Expect 5 (8-hour) days per week with up to 10 call days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct office visits in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Perform procedures and surgeries at the Mercy Health Defiance location.
  • Provide consults at Mercy Health Defiance Hospital.
  • Collaborate with the Toledo call group for provider call coverage.
  • Option to provide telemedicine services to patients.

Required Skills & Expertise:
  • Expertise in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
  • Advanced skills in Critical Care Medicine and Interventional Pulmonology.
  • Knowledge in managing Pulmonary Hypertension and Sleep Medicine.

Support and Resources Provided:
  • Onsite RT, Radiology, and Laboratory Services.
  • Sleep Lab available on-site.
  • Full support from LPNs and RNs to assist with patient care.
  • Access to ancillary services, including Radiology, PT/OT, Speech Pathology, and Social Work.
