Job Description
TITLE
Sleep/Polysomnography Technologist
SCHEDULE
Weekend coverage required; nights only.
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience required
- Patient ratio experience: 2 (experience working 2:1 ratios)
- Epic charting experience required
- Certifications: BLS, RPSGT or RRT with SDS
- Experience with diagnostic PSG and scoring, adult and pediatric MSLT, CPAP/BiPAP/ASV/VPAP titrations and setup
- Familiarity with Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed devices
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and score polysomnography (PSG) studies, including diagnostic and titration studies.
- Conduct Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) and pediatric MSLT.
- Monitor and manage CPAP/BiPAP/ASV/VPAP setups for patients.
- Recognize and document seizure events and respiratory events during sleep studies.
- Educate patients regarding procedures and infection control practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation using Epic.
COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- All requests for time-off must be submitted up-front; large requests may delay offer.
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- Background checks and compliance with facility policies required.
