Key Responsibilities

  • Assist board-certified dermatologists in diagnosing and managing various skin conditions, employing both clinical and procedural skills.

  • Engage with patients to educate them on skincare regimens and preventative measures for skin diseases, promoting long-term health.
  • Prescribe medications as indicated by patient assessments and treatment protocols.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results to facilitate optimal patient care.

In this role, you will be treating a diverse population, including patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of skin conditions. Qualifications
  • Current and active Physician Assistant Certification is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in a medical setting, specifically in dermatology, is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for patient management and documentation.
  • Commitment to complete an intense training program with the supervising dermatologist during the first weeks of employment, generally from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm.
  • Capability to care for medical dermatology patients across all age groups, fostering an inclusive practice environment.

  • Experience in a high-volume dermatology clinic known for its fast-paced environment.
