Job description

This is a guest service-oriented position assisting guests with boot and/or ski rental equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge customers quickly and courteously.
  • Complete accurate work order paperwork and prioritize work orders in an expedient manner.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers.
  • Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service.
  • Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
  • Remain current on industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products.
  • Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.
  • Maintain all company paperwork according to policy.
  • Adhere to safety procedures regarding use of tools and equipment.
  • Ensure guests accurately complete rental forms.
  • Provide resort information to guests.
  • Check returned rentals for damage.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop and proper storage of all equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ski/Snowboard Rental

  • Recommend ski/board length and make sure bindings are set correctly for skill level.
  • Properly fit guests with rental boots for skiing and/or snowboarding.

Boot Rental

  • Find the proper boot fit for each customer to create positive slope experiences.

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • Minimum age for Ski Rental position is 18.
  • Minimum age for Boot Rental position is 14.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
