Job Description

We are seeking a full-time OBGYN Physicians to join our outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated professional, committed to providing high-quality outpatient care. This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services, including obstetrics and gynecological care, contributing to the overall well-being of women throughout their life stages. Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) has earned recognition from the American Medical Association (AMA) as a Joy in Medicine recognized organization.

Patient Care & Treatment
  • Provide excellent and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological care, including prenatal, postnatal, and general gynecological services.
  • Patient Load: 18-20 patients on clinic days Average of 35 births/month Primary C-Section rate 23%
  • On-Call: 1 week every 5 weeks
  • Develop and communicate effective treatment plans with patients, including guidance on reproductive health, pregnancy, menopause, and preventive care.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap tests, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic services.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and update patient information in the hospital's electronic medical records system.
  • Manage obstetric and gynecological services in accordance with established clinic policies/procedures.
  • Order appropriate tests and screenings for patient care.
  • Review and interpret test results, including prenatal screenings and lab reports.
  • Maintain a reasonable patient load with a focus on quality care.
Collaborative Teamwork
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including midwives, nurses, and other specialists.
  • Collaborate with an assistant and scribe service (or Ai scribe) to reduce administrative burden.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
  • Excellent Bedside Manners, with a compassionate approach to women's health.
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • An active CA Medical License is required to start. Assistance is available for licensing.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology - ABOG.
  • Residents completing their US residency this year are encouraged to apply, including board certification eligibility.
