What are the typical challenges faced by a skeletal animator when working on a new project?

Skeletal animators often encounter challenges such as ensuring realistic movement and timing while working within the technical constraints of the animation software and game engine. Collaboration with character modelers, riggers, and developers is crucial to ensure the skeleton fits the character design and functions correctly. Additionally, maintaining consistency across different animations and adapting to frequent feedback or changes from creative leads can be demanding. Strong communication skills and adaptability help skeletal animators thrive in this dynamic, collaborative environment.
