Job description

Description Greensfelder Recreation Complex is seeking two (2) seasonal Rink Managers to support operations during the upcoming rink season. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive experience for all rink users, from teams and coaches to families and casual skaters. The salary is $20.50 hourly and there are no benefits provided

These roles will work weekday evenings along with weekend days and evenings. The Seasonal Rink Manager reports to the Recreation Supervisor and serves as a liaison between team organizations, coaches, rink guards, and patrons. In this position, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while assisting with daily rink operations.

Oversee skate lesson activities and provide support to instructors and participants. Perform skate sharpening services

Complete bank deposits and follow all cash-handling procedures. Carry out opening and closing tasks within CivicRec, including verifying schedules, preparing the facility, and ensuring proper end-of-day documentation. Maintain positive communication with coaches, team staff, rink guards, and patrons.

Minimum Qualifications Equivalent to two years of experience working with children and/or one year of experience with recreational facilities operations. Skating experience is preferred. Additional Information All applicants conditionally offered seasonal employment with the Department of Parks and Recreation will be required to pass a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to employment.
