Job Summary:
The Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) Manager is responsible for establishing, updating, and leading initiatives and projects that drive Indirect and Direct Procurement standardization, best practices, analytics, governance, and capability development across the organization. This role partners with category management and procurement execution, QC, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and IT to improve procurement performance, enable digital transformation, and deliver measurable value.
Essential Functions:

Strategy & Governance
  • Define and maintain the Procurement CoE strategy and roadmap
  • Maintain and improve policies, standards, and procedures across sourcing, contracting, procurement execution, and supplier management
  • Drive compliance to procurement policies and improve governance frameworks
  • Support executive leadership with decision frameworks and procurement insights
  • Lead key initiatives such as cost savings across enterprise

Process Standardization & Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement standard procurement processes
  • Lead process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across sites and categories
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, SOPs, and templates

Data, Analytics & Reporting
  • Maintain and improve procurement analytics capabilities
  • Continuing development of dashboards and KPI reporting (savings, compliance, supplier performance, etc.)
  • Enable data-driven decision making across sourcing and supplier management
  • Ensure data quality

Digital & Systems Enablement
  • Lead procurement technology initiatives (e.g., A.I ERP, P2P, Supplier Management, PLM/SMS systems)
  • Partner with IT on any new system implications
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and automation (e.g., RFP tools, contract lifecycle management)
  • Act as business owner for procurement systems and enhancements

Supplier Management Framework
  • Develop and standardize supplier onboarding, segmentation, and performance management frameworks
  • Continue to develop and improve scorecards, SLAs, and governance cadence for key suppliers
  • Support critical supplier escalations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enable cross-functional collaboration (Quality, Operations, Finance)

Capability Building & Training
  • Enhance procurement team capabilities through training programs and knowledge sharing
  • Establish competency frameworks and skill development plans
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes/systems
  • Mentor and coach procurement team members

Category & Project Support
  • Provide tools and methodologies for strategic sourcing and category management
  • Support major sourcing events and transformation projects

Qualifications & Experience:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

Experience
  • 8-12+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
  • 3-5+ years in process improvement, transformation, or CoE-type roles
  • Experience in manufacturing or CPG (wine/food & beverage preferred) a plus
  • Proven track record in procurement transformation and systems implementation

Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong process design and continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma preferred)
  • Advanced analytics and data interpretation capability
  • Experience with procurement tools (SAP, Power BI for analytics)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Salary Range: $105,400.00 - $195,700.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
