Bring the Fun to Life Online! Six Flags St. Louis is looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-savvy Social Media Intern to help showcase the excitement of our park during the 2026 season. In this role, you'll capture memorable guest experiences, create engaging content, support social media campaigns, and help bring the Six Flags brand to life across digital platforms.This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and brand storytelling in a fast-paced entertainment environment. If you're passionate about social media, enjoy creating compelling content, and thrive in an energetic setting, we'd love to hear from you!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:•Capture photo and video content throughout the park, including events, attractions, entertainment, dining, and guest experiences.•Create engaging social media content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.•Edit photos and videos and deliver polished content within a few days of capture.•Assist with scheduling and publishing posts according to the marketing content calendar.•Monitor social media trends, viral content, and platform updates to identify opportunities for engagement.•Support community management efforts by monitoring comments, messages, and guest interactions.•Work closely with the Marketing team to develop creative content ideas and campaigns.•Maintain brand standards and ensure content aligns with company guidelines.•Assist in collecting and reporting social media performance metrics and insights.•Attend Park events, seasonal festivals, and special programs to capture content as needed.Qualifications:•Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field preferred.•Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current content trends.•Experience creating short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. •Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.•Comfortable working in an outdoor theme park environment and walking throughout the park for extended periods.•Ability to gather content independently and edit content within a few days of capture.•Reliable, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.•Passion for storytelling, social media, and creating memorable guest-focused content.What You'll Gain:•Real-world social media and digital marketing experience.•Opportunity to build a professional content portfolio.•Exposure to entertainment, tourism, and experiential marketing.•Collaboration with experienced marketing professionals.•A fun and dynamic work environment where every day is different.
