Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company, and leads the industry in innovation, scale, and service.
They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire a "Marketing Solution Architect". This role will be 100% Remote
Summary:
  • This role is responsible for designing and optimizing the architecture, systems, and data frameworks that power Global Payments' SMB Marketing ecosystem.
  • Combining deep expertise in data operations, systems integration, and marketing technology, this individual ensures seamless data flow, standardized processes, and accurate measurement across all marketing channels. This role translates business and campaign requirements into scalable technical solutions, partnering with CRM Development, RevOps, SalesOps, Corporate Marketing, Enterprise Data, and regional marketing stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
  • With strong technical leadership and executive presence, this role defines best practices, governs marketing data and system architecture, and enables the organization to scale marketing performance through reliable, well designed infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design
  • Design end-to-end marketing solutions that support campaign execution, including data flows, system integrations, and process frameworks
  • Define technical architecture for campaign enablement, including tracking, tagging, lead management, and audience integration
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned to enterprise standards
  • Data Architecture & Integration
  • Define and manage integration requirements across CRM, marketing automation, CDP, analytics, and other martech data platforms (webinars, user experience, website/Sitecore, etc)
  • Ensure seamless data flow, synchronization, and consistency across systems
  • Partner with Marketing DataOps, Martech & Enterprise Data, to align on data structures and pipelines

Attribution & Tracking Frameworks
  • Establish and maintain standards for campaign tracking, tagging, and attribution
  • Ensure marketing activities are measurable and aligned with reporting and performance frameworks
  • Support implementation of attribution models through accurate data capture and system design
  • Technical Requirements & Translation
  • Translate business and campaign requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Partner with cross-functional technical teams to deliver system enhancements and integrations
  • Document data flows, dependencies, and system logic to support scalability and transparency

System Governance & Optimization
  • Define and enforce standards for data quality, system usage, and integration patterns
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, and performance across the marketing ecosystem
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies (eg AI, Copilot, etc) and recommend enhancements to the martech stack, and process automations
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to data flow, system integrations, tracking, and lead management
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for technical challenges impacting marketing performance
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain campaign and reporting integrity

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, data architecture, or systems integration
  • Advanced proficiency with marketing platforms (Salesforce CRM, Marketo/Pardot, CDPs, paid media platforms, GTM & attribution tools, analytics tools, ETL/integration platforms)
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and system integrations
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable marketing technology solutions
  • Experience working with enterprise data teams, BI, and engineering functions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders

This is a remote position.
Compensation: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
