This Senior Project Engineer is a junior leadership role critical to driving our initiatives that align with the company?s growth objectives and environmental commitments while leveraging innovative technologies and sustainable practices. The Project Engineer will collaborate with the Regional Engineering Manager and Project Managers implementing project work plans, designing site, utility, grading, and erosion control plans and details. This position will also contribute to strategic planning, team recruitment, productivity, quality control and assurance, business development, client satisfaction, staff career development. Key Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary point of contact for select clients, presenting technical solutions, maintaining client relationships, and driving new business development from existing clients.
  • Lead the design team and approval process to secure all regulatory approvals and permits
  • Participate in the financial success of all projects.
  • Adhere to the Firm?s Quality Assurance and Quality Control policy and procedures on all projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years? experience in the consulting industry working on projects for Economic Developers, Government/Municipal Agencies, Regional & National Retailers and Private Developers on Civil infrastructure and Site Plan projects. Extensive experience with civil/site design, permitting and management of private commercial developments, public County, City & Town roadways, water and sewer improvements projects.

  • Public Presentation experience
  • Experience with obtaining Entitlements including Federal, State and Local regulatory approvals and permits
  • Expertise in State and Local site design standards and regulations
