What you'll own
  • Drive platform reliability and resilience by identifying potential points of failure, validating system behavior through testing and contributing solutions that strengthen service availability and business continuity.
  • Advance automation and self-service capabilities that reduce operational complexity, improve engineering efficiency and enable teams to deploy and manage services with greater speed and confidence.
  • Influence performance and scalability improvements by analyzing system behavior, uncovering optimization opportunities and helping evolve platforms to support future business growth.
  • Increase operational visibility and responsiveness through effective monitoring, alerting and observability practices that accelerate issue detection and improve service health outcomes.
  • Strengthen customer and business confidence by helping ensure production environments remain secure, highly available and capable of delivering reliable payment experiences.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages and a strong interest in applying software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations challenges.
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems, networking concepts such as Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), routing and network topologies, or a willingness to build expertise in these areas.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate issues, follow structured approaches and deliver effective solutions.
  • A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset, with the ability to build strong working relationships and continuously learn in a fast-paced technology environment.
