Multi-Site Operations Manager โ€“ Veterinary Services


Location: Norfolk, VA (or open to relocate to)

Compensation: $100,000 โ€“ $130,000 base (dependent on experience) + potential relocation package


About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Site Operations Manager to lead operations across a growing, privately owned multi-site veterinary clinic in Norfolk, VA.


The business currently operates two sites, including a modern 8,000 sq. ft. multi-specialty hospital, with an additional clinic positioned for growth but not yet operating at full capacity. A key focus of this role will be to drive operational improvements, increase efficiency, and support the scaling and activation of the second location.


This is a high-impact leadership position with full accountability for a ~$5M P&L, working closely with clinical leadership to deliver strong financial performance, high standards of care, and an exceptional client experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize P&L performance across both locations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, workflow, and case management
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a multi-disciplinary team
  • Drive operational efficiencies to support growth and expansion initiatives
  • Play a key role in activating and scaling patient volume at the second clinic
  • Support the continued growth of the practices while maintaining high standards of medicine and client care
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs and performance metrics, implementing process improvements
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Manage staffing alignment, budgeting, and cost control initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with referring veterinary partners
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in veterinary or healthcare operations management
  • Experience leading 5+ DVM hospitals or multi-site environments preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L and KPIs
  • A critical thinker with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
