We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager - Site Development in our Grand Rapids office who supports our clients, co-workers and core principles - "understand our customers and satisfy their needs, do what we say we are going to do and have fun."

Responsibilities:
  • Work with both public and private entities in the development & enhancement of new or existing facilities including site developments including commercial, institutional, multi-family housing, streetscapes, community recreation; plus, other public and private projects.
  • Manage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for municipal and private projects.
  • Supervise and develop project team members, including goal setting, problem solving, coaching, and career guidance.
  • Perform technical analysis and documentation.
  • Determine and monitor project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Identify funding source opportunities and assists clients to receive funding.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, and coordinate pursuits with Business Development team, including cross selling the firm's capabilities as a provider of Design, Build, Operate services.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and MI PE registration
  • 15+ years of related land or site development engineering experience
  • Experience in client management, preparing and meeting budgets and schedules
  • Experience in relationship development and proposal preparation
  • Knowledgeable in municipal, township and county government practices and regulations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
