Job description

Land Entitlement Trainee White's Site Development | Orlando / Central Florida | Entry Level

About Us

White's Site Development is a Central Florida civil site development company specializing in multifamily and commercial ground-up projects. We're a lean, fast-moving team growing rapidly — and building careers alongside projects.

The Role

Support the entitlement and predevelopment process across active Central Florida projects. You'll learn to take raw land from concept through local government approvals — a highly valuable, hard-to-find skill set. Mentorship is built in. We expect curiosity and drive, not a finished resume.

What You'll Do

Research zoning codes and land use regulations, assist with rezoning and site plan applications, track permit status across multiple projects, attend pre-application meetings and public hearings, coordinate with engineers and attorneys, and support feasibility and acquisition research.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field — or equivalent experience
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • GIS familiarity (ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro) a plus
  • Florida land development or local government exposure a plus

What matters most: reliability, resourcefulness, transparency, ownership, and a team-first attitude.

What We Offer

  • Hands-on mentorship in Florida real estate development
  • Direct exposure to live projects
  • Competitive base compensation with performance-based growth
  • Clear path to senior entitlement or project management roles

To Apply

Send your resume and a 3–5 sentence note on why this role interests you to jjm2@whitessitedevelopment.com. Applications with the note are prioritized. Rolling review.
