Job description

Performance Summary The Construction Site Assistant provides direct logistical and operational support to the Construction Manager to ensure the efficient execution of Habitat for Humanity's construction activities. This position serves as an extension of the Construction Manager by assisting with day-to-day project coordination, material procurement, site logistics, document handling, scheduling, and other operational tasks that support the construction program. A primary responsibility of this role is to anticipate and respond to the needs of the Construction Manager by performing field and support functions as construction activities require.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, obtaining materials and supplies, transporting documents, running project-related errands, and supporting operational needs that contribute to maintaining construction schedules and site productivity. Work assignments and hours may vary based on construction schedules, volunteer activities, project milestones, and organizational priorities. This field-based position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while effectively supporting construction operations and advancing Habitat for Humanity's mission.
