Position SummaryThe Dispatcher at Sisu Energy is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day movement of trucks, drivers, and loads to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transportation operations. This role serves as the primary communication link between drivers, customers, field operations, and leadership while maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, and operational efficiency.Dispatchers play a critical role in maximizing truck productivity, supporting drivers in the field, and ensuring Sisu Energy continues delivering reliable service to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesLoad & Fleet CoordinationAssign loads to drivers and manage truck scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Monitor driver progress, delivery times, and route status throughout each shift.Coordinate with customers, terminals, and field locations to ensure smooth pickups and deliveries.Manage load boards and dispatch systems to track shipments and driver activity.Driver Communication & SupportMaintain consistent communication with drivers throughout their shifts.Provide clear instructions on pickup locations, delivery requirements, and operational expectations.Assist drivers with operational challenges, delays, or routing issues in real time.Ensure drivers have the necessary information to operate safely and efficiently.Operational MonitoringTrack fleet activity, turn times, and load completion.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and increase truck utilization.Monitor driver hours, compliance requirements, and operational limits when applicable.Communicate shift updates and operational issues to the next dispatch team.Safety & ComplianceSupport company safety policies and procedures.Report incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate team members.Coordinate with safety supervisors when incidents or operational issues occur.Ensure drivers are operating within company and regulatory guidelines.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate records of loads, driver assignments, and operational activities.Update dispatch systems with load statuses, delays, and completion times.Provide shift reports and operational updates to management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
