Job Description:
At Regions, the Loan Servicing Single Point of Contact Specialist works with customers that are going through the foreclosure process as the sole point of contact for the borrower until their financial hardship is resolved.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Acts as a direct point of contact for delinquent or imminent default borrowers and assists them through the loss mitigation servicing process
  • Assesses, resolves, and executes appropriate workout solutions
  • Works with customers to resolve mortgage account delinquency status while minimizing company interest losses
  • Implements repayment plans as necessary and collects delinquent payments
  • Ensures that files and paperwork are properly and accurately completed
  • Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
  • May contact outside parties to collect or clarify documentation

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills

  • Answer a high volume of incoming customer calls on a daily basis
  • Communicate with borrowers who have delinquent accounts
  • Make outgoing calls as needed to provide information and follow up
  • Document customer interactions accurately and professionally

Strongly preferred:
Collections, Mortgage and/or Call Center experience.
Schedule:
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
  • One evening shift per week from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Rotating Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Shift will be assigned based on business needs

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
