What is a simulator qualification technician?

A Simulator Qualification Technician is a professional responsible for ensuring that flight simulators and other training devices meet industry and regulatory standards for accuracy, reliability, and safety. They perform regular inspections, maintenance, testing, and documentation to verify that simulators function properly and are suitable for pilot training. These technicians collaborate closely with engineers, instructors, and regulatory authorities to resolve technical issues and maintain compliance. Their work is critical for ensuring that pilots receive high-quality, realistic training experiences. This role often requires technical knowledge in electronics, mechanics, and aviation standards.
